KDU IRC 2021 Security, Stability and National Development in the New Normal

The IRC takes place more than a year after the global pandemic and in the midst of unprecedented global transformations in all spheres of life from politics, technology, economy to developmental strategies. The impact of microbial threat on the global order is widely felt.
Priorities from national security development policies to foreign relations of all nations are based on attempts to stabilize the uncertainties brought by the pandemic and securitize any vulnerability. The ultimate objective through these stabilization and securitization efforts are to achieve national development under the new normal conditions. These efforts are manifested as rethinking governance, technological innovation, building and exploring new strategies for economic resilience and looking at new work modalities, ethics, adaptive supply chains.

The conference is on capturing these transformations from every aspect of academic and policy lenses from disciplinary lenses of defense, legal, medical, engineering, technological, management to social science.
