One-day library workshop for Student officers at Maritime Academy (NMA), Trincomalee.

The Naval & Maritime Academy (NMA) has requested the KDU library team to conduct a one-day library workshop on the resources and services available at the KDU Library. The KDU library staff has conducted the workshop on 7th December 2024 at the Naval & Maritime Academy (NMA).

Senior Assistant Librarians Ms. U.D. Hiruni Kanchana and Ms. P. K. Wijesekara participated in the workshop as resource persons and provided awareness on the extensive collection of digital and physical resources and services offered by the KDU library to help users to conduct better research and achieve better academic results. This training programme was attended by 60 officers enrolled in NMA's master and undergraduate Logistics Management programs. The workshop was organized by Commander Ashoka Senadeera and Lieutenant Commander Priyantha Rathnayaka under the direction of Commodore R. Joseph, NMA.
